Doujin Artist Gets His Own Anime
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

Back in the day, if you had any big contribution with working in the porn industry, finding a “real” job was going to be hell for you. Lately, that stigma has changed, many people who had ventured out in the realm of having a porn career has made a name for themselves else were. The artist of Shokugeki no Soma, Shun Saeki, who goes by the doujin name TOSH, has seen wonderful success without the stigma of drawing hentai haunting him. Well now another one of our fellow doujin artist Kawasaki Tadataka has gotten themselves an anime adaptation.

Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro is a story of a nerdy bookworm girl on her way to school, and yes, that's the entire premise, as she's not getting to school any time soon. Taking her "usual" route to school, it becomes an increasingly unusual adventure, and all the more ridiculous as it carries on. It takes an unpleasant sentiment many can empathize with, the feeling of tardiness, and brings humor to it—making it a hilarious situation to look back upon.

Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro has been announced to having 12 episodes in total. I haven’t watched any of Chio-chan since I’m too busy doing other things and watching other great animes (Banana Fish!) but it’s still a great thing seeing a doujin artist get something of theirs animated.

Us perverts we once again!
