Well, Patreon is kink shaming again, and this time, their trying to do away with hypnotism. Many erotic content creators have been kicked or page being under review with in light of this. With people being outraged and at Patreon’s throat, they came out with a statement:

“[A] violation of our policy is when hypnosis is used as a coercion mechanic for nonconsensual [sexual content], typically in a fictional scenario, at which point we consider it to be a glorification of sexual violence. We also do not allow other fringe sexual fetish creations, such as incest, necrophilia, or fetish creations that is hard to distinguish from non-consensual sex. When a creator’s account is placed under review, we work 1:1 with the creator to bring them back within guidelines, as was the case with the creator you mentioned in your email.”

Now it’s true that hypnotisim, even with the person enjoying it and doing the act “willing”, is another form of the rape fantasy. A lighter take since no one is screaming and fighting back, but putting someone under your control is still against their will. Now with that being said, I still think this is stupid as fuck. Let people have their hypnotism fantasies if no one is actually getting hurt...or hypnotized. We need to start understanding that this shit is not real, and if someone does rape someone because of reading something about rape, then that person was fucked in the head to begin with.
