Is 2XKO Robbing Players?!
By ImJustThatKinky • 3 weeks ago

I’m still sitting here waiting for the 2XKO Playstation release date, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stay out of the loop while new information drops. There've been free to play fighting games before like Fantasy Strike and also Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, but not one of this scale, which has a lot of people excited. But, the excitement kind of faded when people got a look at one of the bundle packs they’ve decided to sell.

Yeah, that’s right, $100 big bucks. That’s the same price as the rumored Grand Theft Auto 6. $100 for a bunch of skins and effects sounds pretty pricey. But you need to calculate all you’re actually getting.

With the $100 ultra bundle you get:

  • 8 Champ Tokens which you can use to unlock characters.
  • A new K.O. effect
  • 5000 in-game currency
  • Clothes for your avatar
  • And the big one, the League of Legend Arcane Skins

When you factor all those things in, with it also being a free game, I’ll be honest, it’s not that bad of a deal. Now does it suck you can’t just buy the skins individually? Totally, since they’re the Arcane outfits, something that many casual and pros who play 2XKO would love to have. You know the KD/A skins are going to go stupid when they drop. Can’t wait to spend $200.

So, even though a lot of players believe the devs are ripping them off, they have to remember that 1, the game is free. 2, they’re not forcing you to buy it. And 3, it’s just costumes, it’s not going to make your character stronger or anything, so it’s not even pay to win. We live in a world where everyone wants to get money, but never wants to spend it. If you want Vi to be naked, like I do. You’re going to have to fork over $100 big bucks.

Viv my beloved.

Do you think this bundle is a rip off? Would you buy the KD/A skins? Have you played 2XKO? Tell us in the comments.
