In a tweet, linked HERE, famed mangaka OKAYADO has announced that his legendary series Monster Musume will enter indefinite hiatus. We've previously discussed Nobuo Uematsu's own leave of absence, so the timing is interesting. It's well-known that Japan tends to work their people to death, so when they say they need a break, they actually need a break.

OKAYADO's work such as the above-mentioned Monster Musume and 12 Beast will be on hiatus while the mangaka recovers. We here at Doujins wish him well, and hope he makes a full recovery.
