Skyrim Gets Ported to Manga?
By Yung Namahage • 4 years ago

Todd Howard's trickery really knows no bounds.

Everyone's favorite action fantasy RPG from 2011 (sorry Dark Souls) has inspired an author named Ezo Gingitsune to create a manga titled "Saikyou no Madoshi. Hisa ni Ya wo Ukete Shimatta no de Inaka no Eihei ni Naru," or "I Used to Be the Strongest Sorcerer. Then I Took an Arrow in the Knee and Became a Village Guard ." Talk about a throwback meme. I'm getting impact font flashbacks just thinking about it.

As the name suggests, the series follows a wizard named Alfred who, after recieving the bane of many village guards' adventuring careers, loses his magic powers and ends up joining a knight's guild, before helping them in various quests alongside an elf girl named Millet. Before you ask, yes, there is fanservice.

Here might be dragons but don't expect the Dragonborn or characters from Elder Scrolls to make an appearance. It's simply a manga inspired by the game and has no connection with Bethesda. At least it's not generic isekai number 9523234 except this time some guy gets warped into the land of Tamriel. Although it'll instantly become my favorite manga of all time if a giant smacks someone so hard they end up flying through the skybox, or a horse glitches through a mountain. Man, I kinda want to play Skyrim now. Thanks, Todd!

If this sounds like your thing then check out the manga here. If you could write a manga based on a game which game would you choose? Let us know below!
