There's a One Punch Man Fighting Game?
By Yung Namahage • 4 years ago

Have you ever wondered how Saitama, a character whose point is to be comically overpowered, would fit into a fighting game? I mean, Superman has been in a few fighting games and he's pretty much invincible unless kryptonite or magic are involved, which is always the case in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and the Injustice series. But what would be the fun in a fighting game that's over in a single button press? Well, soon you'll be able to see how it'd work.

Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft are back with yet another 3D 3-v-3 anime fighting game, this time set in the One Punch Man universe, named One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Alongside the bald badass are fan favorites Genos, Fubuki, Speed O' Sound Sonic, Lord Boros and, of course, Mumen Rider. It looks faithful to the tone of the show and each character looks like they've been well-represented, but I'm wondering just how Saitama would function from a gameplay perspective and what'll set it apart from similar games such as Jump Force or My Hero: One's Justice. Check it out for yourselves in the reveal trailer.

There's no release date yet but we do know that it's coming soon to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Are you interested in a One Punch Man fighting game? How do you think it'll be balanced? Which characters are you hoping to see? Let us know what you think in the comments!
