Kicking off this week's highlights we've got Beside You, Soaked In Water by Junjou Hedgehog. This is a cute, almost romantic take on what is now a relatively unpopular pairing in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury community ever since SuleMio became the main ship. A story about Suletta and Guel having a passionate encounter in the back of the school, a nice offering for those still-pure, the vanilla lovers among us.
Next highlight is the exact opposite, we have a top-voted choice finally making its appearance: My Life In Another World After Losing It by Re:Set, a perverted and forceful chronicle of a guy who reincarnates as a dark elf girl who can absorb monster's and people's skills with her pussy. In a world where isekai harems where the MC takes the world with his immense power are a dime a dozen, this story takes us on the opposite side, where the MC experiments what it feels to be a girl being taken by everything and everyone. It's degeneracy in all its full-color glory!
As a final note, let's talk about title translation, because we got a couple interesting ones this week. First off, the "water" in the Gundam doujin has two meanings: One is the literal water that is poured by the bullies onto Suletta and gets the story moving, but also, just as a piece of dialogue says in the doujin, it has to do with the Japanese word for "Mercury": 水生 (Suisei) meaning Water Planet, so it's a double reference for Suletta's name and place of birth.
Likewise, "Losing it" on My Life In Another World After Losing It has a couple possible meanings that I can come up with- One may refer to the main guy losing his dick after dying, since he became a girl after reincarnation; another one might be that instead of "losing" 失くす it means "to die" 亡くす (conjugation is a bit weird but tbh it could just be for the sake of wordplay).
We always make a real effort to properly translate the titles of our TL uploads, but man sometimes it's tricky to get all the jokes, references and wordplay to be understood in English. It comes with the territory, though and for that we give thanks to the members involved in the translation of this week's highlights: Maou, Grosso, Ero and Robert!
(Psst, the sequel to that weird Elon Musk doujin is also up this week, go check it out to have a laugh!)
