Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Finally Getting Worldwide Release
By Yung Namahage • 2 years ago

You know what, as an Evangelion fan it kinda sucks writing about a movie I really want to watch but can't. And I'm far from the only one who's been hyped to see the thrilling conclusion of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. But now I'm pleased to say I'll be watching Thrice upon a Time before too long, and you can too!

Starting August 13, Amazon Prime Video will be adding the entire Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy to over 240 regions outside of Japan including the latest entry, specifically, the 3.0+1.01 version released in Japan as part of the film's final run. This version features minor changes to the animation in a few scenes but no story alterations and will be available to watch dubbed in over 10 languages or in Japanese subtitled in 28 langauges.

While it would be amazing to watch it in 4DX the way Anno intended, streaming it online will have to do for now. Here's hoping it does get a theatrical release over here eventually.

Are you guys looking forward to finally being able to watch Thrice Upon a Time? Sound off below!
