I’ve always been a casual fan of the Fate series. It’s not like I’m overly crazy about it, but I have watched Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero, and other random forms of its media. Fate is just a big and interesting concept, with a lot of lovable and interesting characters, definitely because of the Fate/Grand Order mobile game. With all these crazy and different characters, I was always hoping for a Fate fighting game on consoles. Well…this isn’t that, but, it is a Fate series video game that’s on console.



Fate/Samurai Remnant is said to be an action RPG which really piqued my interest. When I first saw this teaser, I was afraid that it was going to be a Dynasty Warrior clone that I’ve seen a lot of different series start to gravitate to. But, with it being an action RPG, I’m way more interested in seeing how it all plays out. I’m hoping it keeps the whole Holy Grail format and we’re just going around finding different Masters and Servants, in an effort to be the last man standing. God, I’m so hype!!!

I can’t wait for more information to come out. With this only being a teaser, it’s very likely that this won’t be coming out 2023, and if it is, it might be late 2023. So, let’s just keep an eye out and see what the team at Type-Moon are cooking up.
