It’s hit or miss when it comes to how people feel about studio MAPPA taking charge of Attack on Titan after it was given to them by WIT Studio. My opinion is that studio MAPPA is doing a great job adapting Attack on Titan. Yeah, WIT Studio didn’t rely on CG when it came to the titans fight, but everything else is still smooth and beautiful. Now something that isn’t as beautiful as they used to be is Mikasa, or what people now are calling her...or him, Mankasa.

Now this could be because of two things. One, it could be because with the studio change, the art style slightly changed with it.  The new style is really dark at times, and characters' faces seem to be bigger and more detailed. The second thing it can be is Mikasa's new hair style. Mikasa cut her hair shorter, which could be one reason she looks more boyish. But short hair doesn’t automatically make a girl look like a guy. Someone even redrew Mikasa more feminine looking even with the same short hair.

So yeah, Mankasa is here to stay until Attack on Titan's final season ends. I’m totally fine with getting a new husbando in Attack on Titan, you know we’ve been needing one with all of them getting killed off. So whether it’s Mikasa or Mankasa, I’m still smashing.
