Why is the viewing or the enjoyment of sex so wrong, but when it comes to violence, everyone is so okay with it?

I believe that whatever you do or think about in your head is up to you, no matter how deprived it might be. If you don’t act upon those messed up fantasy (that I know you have) that you have in your head, then I’m totally okay with that. If we start censoring or arresting people for the fucked up things that they enjoy in their heads then life would be a constant mess, this isn’t fucking Psycho Pass!

Now someone explain this to me. Why is it so bad to enjoy some rape in my doujins, but it’s totally okay to love watching Saw and seeing people getting tortured to death? Some people will say it’s because rape is horrible and unconsituale...um...yeah...and you’re saying torture is not? The fact that people have gotten so use to gore and violence in their media that it’s seen as normal even though in real life something like that would never slide. For fuck sakes, normal sex in a show would still get a knee jerk reaction compared to violence. It’s not because sex is more immoral than violence, it’s just we’ve been conditioned to accept it as the norm.
