As a connoisseur of yuri and lewd content, I’m being stuffed to the brim thanks to the fine folks creating Gushing Over Magical Girls. I’ve already gushed over this series multiple times this season, but lately my gushing has encountered a slight roadbump in the form of the anime’s latest character addition: a little girl named Korisu who joins the evil organization responsible for bringing sex to the city. To be clear I’m not really one to harp on loli content. Nowadays it seems like everyone wants to equate seeing some drawn loli shit to the actual enjoyment of little girls IRL, which to me is the same as arguing that playing GTA will make you desire to kill someone. Despite my typical tolerance of loli content appearing… I’m just ready to move past this girl taking up so much screen time in an ecchi.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the writers didn’t specifically point out how much younger she was then the rest of the cast. Unfortunately for me, they made sure the MC questioned it point blank and wondered if she was really fit to join an evil organization at such a young age. Korisu’s ability is that she can trap her targets in a dollhouse and force them to roleplay with her. Thankfully in the roleplay she’s usually aged up, but even still, this latest episode focused on fetishes I don’t care for at all: diapers, baby talk, and bladder control. The unholy trinity if you ask me. On one hand I have to give the writers credit for going where most ecchi dare not tread, instead finding solace in sticking to the most boring vanilla shit ever devised. On the other hand, watching this shit had my stomach twisting up and checking to see how much longer I had to sit there before the episode was over. I’m not sure how they managed to secure the budget to produce such clean animation and nice coloring for an ecchi this degenerate, but hats off to the accountants who approved this. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the pitch meeting. Regardless, I still plan to watch the show. I’ll simply cross my fingers that Korisu takes a backseat soon.

We all make mistakes, and I guess this comes down to whether or not you personally consider it a mistake, but for me my enjoyment has been slapped in the face these past two weeks.
