Miku Is Ready To Throw Hands In New Fit Boxing Game
By WakeUpSnooze • 7 months ago

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, get those gloves ready because it will soon be time to enter the ring and squabble with Hatsune Miku. After reading this announcement I knew I wanted to share some details as I wasn’t sure what the fuck was happening. Apparently Imagineer, the developer and publisher of the Fit Boxing series, announced on August 31st that a new title is set to release in spring of 2024 for the Nintendo Switch. The wild part is that this new entry in Fit Boxing will be a collaborative game with Hatsune Miku and she’ll be taking the spotlight to coach players. This also indicates a large amount of her music will be played during workouts. An extremely short teaser is included below.

These days I exercise often enough that anything fucking new or different from the same old shit is a welcome idea. Personally I’ve never heard of the Fit Boxing series, but judging from the past reviews on Wikipedia, this collab may be a match made in heaven. Most of the reviews seemed to complain about a lack of music variety in the past games, while praising the amount of different boxing routines included. So boom baby, throw Miku’s extremely large discography on that bad boy, have her whip the audience into shape, and this may prove to be the best overall entry in the series yet. If it were coming out on something besides the Switch you could bet your ass I’d pick it up. Unfortunately a whole console would be a big investment for a workout at the moment. I’ll have to stick with Wii Sports Boxing from 2006, but rest assured I’ll be jealous of anyone picking this up. Assuming the Joy-Con controls work half-decently to track your punches and dodges that is.

Miku! No weapons on the beach, put those away!

I love when a collaboration is announced that actually makes sense. I admit at first I thought this was a horrendously wacky idea, however after seeing the reviews from past games, that ignited my heart with hope. Have you played any of the previous Fit Boxing games? Are you interested in this one since Miku is in it? Do you like seeing anime shit combined with exercise? Strap on your gloves, enter the ring, and don’t let Miku knock you out in the comments below!
