My Hero Academia Author Owns a Part of the Moon
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

It’s 4th of July so that means it’s time to talk about something American, and you know what’s more American than being the first country to land a man on the moon? Being the first mangaka to own a piece of the moon!

Boku no Hero creator Kohei Horikoshi shared a message in the latest chapter of Boku no Hero about a fan buying him the naming rights to an acre of the moon, which was properly named after best boy, Bakugou Katsuki.

With this also came card from the Lunar Embassy confirming the purchases of said Bakugo moon, a certificate if you would. The card reads:

"From the recognized authority of the Lighted Lunar Surface, this document represents the issuing of real property on the Moon of Earth. This deed is for the Lunar property listed below:"

It’s not like Horikoshi can do anything with this gift, it’s the moon for crying out loud, but it’s a cool gift nonetheless. But I’m here to say, if you guys are big fans of my articles and think it’s a good idea to buy me part of a moon and name it “The Kinky Side of The Moon” then don’t. Buy me porn instead. That’s way more useful.

Do you think this was a cool gift? Do you think buying part of the moon is a waste? Was naming it after Bakugo a mistake? Tell us in the comments below.
