It’s funny what can make you watch a series, and today’s reason are a pair of thighs. SSSS. GRIDMAN is the latest anime from Studio Trigger, and people are talking more about a one of the character’s thighs then the actual show.

The character in question is Rikka Takarada. Masaru Sakamoto, character designer of SSSS. GRIDMAN had an interview where he states that series director, Akira Amemiya requested that when it comes to designing Rikka that he “make her ass big and her thighs thicc.” From the show watchers reactions, to the fan art that has already circulated, I guess it’s safe to say the he was successful.

I watched the first episode of SSSS. GRIDMAN and didn’t find it that interesting to be honest, so I decided to drop it. For some strange reason one day, I decided to look around and see if others shared my same opinion about the first episode. What I found was a post talking about Rikka’s thighs in episode 2. I was interested in seeing these rumored thighs myself, so I went out of my way to watch episode 2, and I’m happy I did. I didn’t really see what the big hype around Rikka’s thighs were, but I did enjoy episode 2 a lot more than episode 1, so I decided to keep watching the series. But with how much people are loving and drawing her thighs, we may can expect some SSSS. GRIDMAN doujins in the future. Thighs save the day once again!
