I’ve been waiting for season 2 of Rising of the Shield Hero for awhile now, and 3 episodes in, I’ve been enjoying it for the most part. But while talking about the latest season with Snooze, he pointed something out to me. Nafumi is getting a little bit too many females in his party.

OH GREAT!!! ANOTHER ONE!!!

Now even though this is a true statement, Nafumi harem is treated more like a group of people who work together instead of the usual women fighting over the MC dick. While in other shows, all the female characters would be head over hills for Nafumi, in Shield Hero, they're all just another member of the party. Even with 7 females in the group, you can only really say that Raphtalia is the only one who has romantic feelings towards Nafumi, which is a good thing.

But even with them not having all the party members going gaga for Nafumi, the lack of males in the party is really weird and annoying at this point. I doubt we’ll see a male character join and stay in the party, but if so, it would be a real good change of pace.
